Flight Arrivals at Murcia Airport

Murcia Corvera Airport airport opened on 15th January 2019 and in its first year just under 1.1 million people used Murcia Airport, which is located near the village of Corvera, about 25 km distance from the city of Murcia.

There is only one terminal building, handling both Arrivals and Departures. Murcia's Arrivals Hall is located on Level 0, where passengers have access to Euronet automated cash dispensers, Information Points (email: murciainformacion@aena.es, tel +34 91 321 10 00). There are a number of car rental companies at Murcia Airport.

Tourist Information is also located on Level 0 in the Arrivals Hall (email airport@murciaturistica.es for enquiries). If you require assistance, because you have a disability, you should contact the Support Service on the above telephone number at least 2.5 hours in advance of your arrival. But it's even better to make sure you have everything to hand when you arrive at Murcia Corvera Airport to call 48 hours in advance and let Support Services know what you require.

Ground Transportation at Murcia Corvera Airport (RMU)

A single fare with a private Radio taxi from the terminal to central Murcia locations is 29.00 euros. This covers Ronda Sur and the avenues of Reino de Murcia, Doctor Guillén, Ronda Oeste and Miguel Induráin, as well as the districts of La Arboleja, La Albatalia, Los Dolores, Santiago y Zaraiche and Puente Tocinos. Everything is inclusive in the rate, eg. bags and suitcases.

The minimum fare during the day (7.00 to 22.00) is 2.40 euros, at night (22.00 to 7.00) is 2.99 euros. Every km traveled is charged at 0.97 euros, assuming 55% occupancy at least. At night this rate increases to 1.22 euros per kilometer traveled. If you call the Radio Taxi service for pick-up, rather than taking a taxi that's already there at the rank outside the terminal, you have to add 4.85 euros to the fare at night, and 3.64 euros during the day.

During the day waiting time is calculated at 18.89 euros, at night this increases to 25.09 euros.

The taxi rank is located just across from the terminal at the northwestern end of the car rental buildings. Radio Taxi Murcia offers a 24-hour service, with more than 250 taxis covering the Murcia region.

Taxis to the airport? There are Radio Taxi ranks at Hotel Amistad, Cruz Roja and Inicio Hospital Reina Sofia, at Estacion de Tren (Murcia's train station) and Ciudad de la Justicia, as well as Estacion de Autobuses (the bus terminal in the city).

Taxi 7 Plaza Murcia has minibuses in its fleet, ideal if you are travelling in a small group. If you need a transfer to Alicante Airport, the fare is 83.00 euros during the day, 109.00 euros at night.

Buses (www.interbus.es) connect RMU to the city center, a ticket costs 5.00 euros per person. Interbus also goes to Cartagena, La Manga, Mar Menor and Puerto Mazzarón.
